I am a jewellery specialist, historian and gemmologist working between London and Shrewsbury. I specialise in antique and vintage jewellery, offering sourcing, independent advisory and historical research for private clients, dealers and creative projects.
My background combines both trade experience and academic research. I trained under antique jeweller Joseph Bonnar and worked as a specialist at Elmwood’s Auctioneers, gaining experience in cataloguing, valuation and the commercial jewellery market. Alongside this, I completed a research master’s degree at the University of London, where my work focused on jewellery history and the overlooked contributions of women jewellers from the late nineteenth to mid-twentieth century.
I am a member of the Society of Jewellery Historians and a qualified gemmologist, holding both FGA and DGA qualifications from The Gemmological Association of Great Britain. I combine scholarly research with real-world expertise to help clients understand, source and care for exceptional jewellery.
