ABOUT
Meet Beth
I am a fine jewellery specialist, gemmologist and historian based between London and Shrewsbury. I offer bespoke jewellery design, gemstone sourcing, antique jewellery sourcing and freelance historical consultation, research and cataloguing.
Jewellery Specialist & Historian
My specialist background combines hands-on trade experience with academic research into the history of jewellery. Having trained under antique jeweller Joseph Bonnar, worked as a specialist at Elmwood’s Auctioneers, and currently pursuing a research degree in jewellery history at the University of London, I have developed an in-depth knowledge of antique and vintage jewellery, as well as an extensive trade network. I offer a range of services including antique jewellery sourcing, historical research, and auction support, covering valuations, cataloguing and sale curation.
FGA & DGA Gemmologist
As a qualified gemmologist and member of the London Diamond Bourse, I combine technical expertise with access to some of the finest diamonds and gemstones. This allows me to create pieces of exceptional quality, ensuring each commission meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and ethical sourcing.
Designer
My approach to design is highly personal. I work closely with each client to create bespoke jewellery that reflects their story and values. Each piece is crafted in collaboration, often inspired by historical design and incorporating antique or heirloom gemstones where possible. All commissions are handmade by trusted workshops in the UK, using ethically sourced diamonds and gemstones of exceptional quality.
